The Taylor Next Generation 312ce delivers the same forward-thinking upgrades and premium build philosophy of its larger siblings, but in the more intimate and player-friendly Grand Concert body shape. Smaller and more compact than a Grand Auditorium, the Grand Concert offers a comfortable seated feel, quicker response, and a naturally focused voice that fingerstyle players and lighter strummers often gravitate toward. With its gloss Sitka spruce top and solid sapele back and sides, it looks clean, classic, and unmistakably Taylor.

The Grand Concert platform gives this model a slightly tighter low end, clear note separation, and an immediate touch sensitivity that rewards nuanced playing. Sitka spruce provides strong projection and dynamic range, while the sapele body adds warm mids and crisp articulation. Taylor’s scalloped V-Class bracing expands that voice with added sustain, stronger volume, richer bass response, and improved intonation, helping the smaller body sound fuller and more powerful than expected.

Taylor’s Next Generation updates make this guitar especially compelling, led by the Action Control Neck system.
