The Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce Japan Limited Edition brings the familiar Grand Auditorium shape into a beautifully refined, limited-edition package. A solid Sitka spruce top is paired with solid Indian rosewood back and sides, giving the Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce Japan Limited Edition a rich, full-bodied voice with plenty of warmth, clarity, and harmonic detail. The scalloped V-Class bracing with Relief Rout helps the guitar respond with impressive volume and sustain, while the beveled cutaway makes it especially comfortable to reach the upper frets. Finished in Desert Dawn with a Koa Burst treatment on the back and sides, this Taylor has a striking presence that feels every bit as special as its limited-edition status.
The Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce Japan Limited Edition is equally rewarding in the hands, with a slim mahogany neck, West African Crelicam ebony fingerboard, and 25.5-inch scale giving it a smooth, modern playing feel. Mother-of-pearl Element inlays, ebony binding and headstock details, a green abalone rosette, and antique gold Gotoh 510 tuners add an understated level of luxury, while the ebony bridge and ebony bridge pins with green abalone dots carry that attention to detail throughout the instrument. The chamfered body edges give the guitar a comfortable, broken-in feel against the player, making it easy to settle into for everything from intricate fingerstyle work to full-voiced strumming.
When it's time to plug in, the Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce Japan Limited Edition comes equipped with Taylor Claria electronics to bring its naturally detailed acoustic voice to the stage with clarity and control. The combination of rosewood depth, Sitka spruce articulation, V-Class responsiveness, and Taylor's refined Builder's Edition appointments makes this a guitar that can move effortlessly between intimate playing and larger performances. With its Desert Dawn top, premium appointments, and distinctly musical response, the Taylor Builder's Edition 814ce Japan Limited Edition feels like a true showcase of what Taylor can do when tradition, innovation, and craftsmanship all meet in one instrument. Available now at Haggerty's Music.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?
