Fender Brand Experience

The Sound That Started It All
Since 1946, Fender has been the heartbeat of American music. What began as Leo Fender's small radio repair shop in Fullerton, California grew into the company that gave the world the Telecaster, the Stratocaster, and the Precision Bass instruments that didn't just accompany rock 'n' roll, they helped invent it.
Leo Fender never considered himself a musician. He was an engineer who listened closely to the players around him and built what they actually needed: guitars that were easier to play, easier to repair, and built for the stage rather than the studio showroom. That practical, player-first philosophy is still the foundation of everything Fender makes today.

The New American Professional
The Next Evolution:
Fender's flagship, handcrafted in Corona, California, the New American Professional series refines the Stratocaster, Telecaster, Jazzmaster, Jaguar, Precision Bass, and Jazz Bass for the way musicians play today, without losing what makes each one iconic.
Every model features new V-Mod III pickups, custom-voiced for balanced output, string-to-string clarity, and touch sensitivity you can feel. Redesigned bridges add sustain, comfort, and rock-solid stability, while refined electronics and reworked neck shapes keep each guitar and bass feeling right in your hands, gig after gig.
Why Fender?
American Guitar History
When you pick up a Fender, you're experiencing a design that has influenced almost every genre of modern music, kept current by decades of refinement. It's the combination of simple, proven design and real craftsmanship that makes a Fender feel instantly familiar, and instantly yours.
Custom Shop Craftsmanship
At the top of the line, the Fender Custom Shop pushes tradition further with hand-built construction, vintage-style finishes, and hand-wound pickups. For players chasing the look, feel, and tone of Fender's golden eras, it's the closest you can get to a heirloom instrument.
Bolt-On Neck Construction:
Leo Fender's bolt-on neck was a practical idea that became a signature sound. Instead of gluing the neck into the body, Fender secures it with a precision-fitted joint, which gives the guitar its snappy attack, clear note definition, and the bright, articulate twang players associate with a Telecaster or Stratocaster, as well as easy to setup and maintain.
Single-Coil Pickups:
Few sounds are as recognizable as a Fender single-coil: glassy cleans, sparkle in the high end, and clarity on every string in a chord.
Built for Players, Refined for Comfort:
Fender's contoured bodies, comfortable neck profiles, and smooth, reliable controls are designed around how guitarists actually play.

Fender Custom Shop
Fender's Finest:
Where craftsmanship comes to life. Each Custom Shop guitar is hand-built by master luthiers in Corona, California, using premium woods, hand-wound pickups, and painstaking attention to detail — from vintage-accurate relics to bold, one-of-a-kind creations. For players who want an heirloom, not just a guitar.

The Telecaster
Simple, tough, and unmistakably twangy:
Born in 1950 as the world's first mass-produced solid-body electric, the Telecaster set the blueprint for the electric guitar — a bolt-on neck, slab body, and no-nonsense design built to work as hard as the musicians who play it. Its bright, cutting tone has made it a staple of country, rock, and everything in between, prized by players who want honest sound and rock-solid reliability.

The Stratocaster
The Guitar That Changed Everything:
Introduced in 1954, the Stratocaster's sleek contoured body, three single-coil pickups, and versatile 5-way switching made it the most recorded and most copied electric guitar in history. From blues to funk to hard rock, the Strat's bright, articulate tone and iconic tremolo bridge have made it the go-to instrument for players who want range without compromise.

Fender Vintera
Vintage Tone Modern Accessibility:
The Vintera series recreates the look, feel, and sound of Fender's most iconic instruments from the '50s, '60s, and '70s — era-correct colors, vintage-voiced pickups, and period-inspired neck shapes — built at Fender's Ensenada, Mexico facility to deliver authentic vintage character at a fraction of the cost of an original.
From the classic '50s Stratocaster to the '60s Telecaster and beyond, Vintera Guitars let players experience decades of Fender history and tone built for today's stage and studio.

Fender California Standard
Bold California Style Meets Everyday Playability:
The California Standard series pairs a solid spruce top with sapele back and sides for warm, full-bodied tone, and a slim "C"-shaped neck that's easy to play for beginners and gigging musicians alike.
Choose the Redondo (dreadnought) for deep, versatile tone, or the Monterey (orchestra shape) for a balanced, comfortable feel ideal for soloists. Electro (E) models add onboard Fender electronics with a built-in tuner, ready for the stage. Distinctive colors, sealed tuners, and a durable gloss finish a genuine Fender acoustic without the premium price tag.

Bigsby
The Sound of a Shaking Chord:
Born in a California machine shop. Invented by Paul Bigsby in the late 1940s, the Bigsby vibrato tailpiece was the original "whammy bar"
The first design to let players bend pitch and add smooth, wavering vibrato right from the pick hand. It quickly became a signature feature on classic guitars, especially the hollow-body Gretsch models that made it famous.
Now part of the Fender family, Bigsby continues to build the same vibrato units guitarists have trusted for over 70 years factory-installed on select Fender, Gretsch, and other guitars, and available as an add-on.

Gretsch
Play The Sound That Built Rock 'n' Roll:
Since 1883, Gretsch has crafted guitars with a tone all their own — warm, twangy, and full of vintage character you can't get anywhere else. That unmistakable hollow-body growl has powered everything from rockabilly and country to rock and roots music for generations.
Today, Fender manages the manufacturing, production, marketing, and distribution of Gretsch guitars — pairing Gretsch's century-old tone and heritage with Fender's modern quality and consistency.
