This Strymon Zelzah Midnight Edition Multidimensional Phaser is a phaser built for players who want to go far beyond the usual swirl. With two completely independent effects, you can run them separately or combine them in series, parallel, or split configurations to create everything from subtle vintage movement to huge, animated textures. One side delivers a beautifully voiced four-stage phaser with Classic, Barber, and Envelope modes, while the six-stage side moves continuously from traditional phasing into flanging and chorus, giving you an enormous range of modulation sounds.

True stereo operation takes those possibilities even further, with independently adjustable stereo spread for each effect. Layer the two sides together for complex movement, spread them across a stereo rig for a spacious, immersive effect, or keep things simple and let one phaser handle the job. The controls are carefully tuned to stay musical throughout their range, while adjustable resonance lets you emphasize everything from smooth, understated motion to more pronounced, synth-like textures.

For players who like to integrate pedals deeply into their rigs, this one is loaded with flexibility. Instrument- and line-level operation, selectable buffered or true bypass, expression control and comprehensive MIDI support with clock sync and 300 preset locations make it equally at home on a sophisticated pedalboard or in the studio. A premium JFET front end, high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz conversion and 32-bit processing keep everything clean and responsive, all housed in a lightweight anodized aluminum chassis.
