This pedal is in excellent condition with a light nick on the top of the unit, to the right side of the display screen, along with some light scuffing and velcro pre-attached to the bottom. This pedal also has a double-switch attachment firmly secured to the top of the unit.

Drawing its core HX Modeling technology from the larger Helix family, the HX Stomp can serve as a multi-effects processor, amp-and-cab modeling rig, pedalboard expansion unit, recording interface, travel or backup rig, or the centerpiece of a direct-to-PA setup. Its combination of amp, cabinet, effects, and impulse-response processing makes it equally useful for guitar, bass, acoustic instruments, and keys.

The HX Stomp's real strength is how easily it adapts to different rigs. Its library draws from Helix, M-Series, and legacy Line 6 effects, covering drive, distortion, compression, modulation, delay, reverb, pitch shifting, filtering, wah, and more alongside an extensive selection of modeled amplifiers and cabinets. Presets can be built for direct recording or PA use, traditional amplifiers, or four-cable-method configurations that place different effects before and after an amplifier's preamp. Snapshot functionality makes it possible to change multiple parameters within a preset for different sections of a song, while third-party impulse-response support and flexible routing allow deeper customization for players building highly specific sounds.

The same flexibility carries into studio and MIDI-based setups. HX Stomp functions as a multichannel USB audio interface, supports MIDI In and Out/Thru, provides an effects loop for incorporating external pedals, and offers an expression/footswitch connection for expanded control. Stereo connectivity makes it particularly capable for spacious delays, modulation, reverbs, and dual-path rigs, while selectable bypass options help it integrate into an existing pedalboard. Whether it is being used for a streamlined fly rig, progressive and modern-metal presets, ambient sound design, conventional blues and rock amp tones, bass processing, or as an all-purpose studio tool, the HX Stomp packs much of the Helix ecosystem into a format designed to fit on a working pedalboard.
