The Pigtronix Class A Boost is a simple, effective way to give your rig more output, warmth, and presence without changing the fundamental character of your guitar. Its discrete single-ended Class A circuit uses J-FETs to deliver a clean boost with a warm, natural response, making it a great choice when you want to push an amp harder without immediately piling on extra distortion. Keep the boost lower for a little more body and definition, or turn it up to push the front end of a tube amp into its own natural crunch.

The full-range response keeps the Class A Boost useful throughout your signal chain, whether you're running it up front to hit an overdrive or distortion pedal harder or using it later to bring up your overall level for solos. It handles both instrument and line-level signals, so it can also find a home in an amp's effects loop when you need more control over where that extra gain is coming from.
