Built with a solid mahogany body and carved maple cap, this Les Paul Custom produces the powerful sustain, focused midrange, and articulate attack that helped define the late-'60s Custom. The one-piece mahogany neck features the substantial Authentic 1968 profile and is joined to the body with a long neck tenon for exceptional resonance and stability. An ebony fingerboard with mother-of-pearl block inlays, medium jumbo frets, and multi-ply binding completes the classic "Black Beauty" playing experience, while the Murphy Lab Heavy Aged nitrocellulose finish adds authentic lacquer checking, softened edges, and naturally worn hardware that make the guitar feel immediately familiar in your hands.
