The Fuzz Imp Sender V is the most advanced version of this circuit yet, taking the classic Muff-style foundation and giving it considerably more control over how it hits and responds. On the left side, a massive EQ boost lets you push the front end hard, while the added Tone control gives you more say over the overall character. A transistor pre-boost can also be engaged to tighten up the gain, making the fuzz feel more focused and articulate when you want more definition.

On the fuzz side, the Vintage/Hot toggle lets you choose between a more classic response and a hotter, more aggressive voice, while the three-way Clip switch offers another layer of shaping. Full diode clipping delivers the most saturated character, the middle position opens things up, and the alternate clipping mode adds high-pass filtering for a tighter response. There’s also a Gate control that comes into play around the upper part of its range, helping tame background hiss and hum without taking away the pedal’s ability to get wild.

The result is a Muff-inspired fuzz that can go from huge and sustaining to tight, focused, and downright nasty, with enough control to make it work across a wide range of rigs and playing styles. Kicking on the right-side footswitch engages the main fuzz circuit, while the boost switch brings in the mid-focused transistor boost when you need extra clarity and cut.
