Built in collaboration with Portland, Oregon-based band Cue The Sun, this Artist Series pedal grew out of custom HM-style units originally developed for bassist Wyatt and guitarist Ben. The result is a high-gain pedal with plenty of familiar chainsaw character, but enough flexibility to take that core sound in some unexpected directions. Gain and volume controls keep the essentials straightforward, while the EQ section gives you plenty of room to shape the character around your rig.

One of the most useful features is the clean blend control, positioned right in the center of the pedal. It lets you mix your driven signal with your clean sound, helping preserve definition and low-end presence while still bringing plenty of aggression to the mix. Whether you're pushing a guitar into heavy, cutting distortion or looking to keep a bass part articulate underneath the grind, that blend gives you a practical way to balance the two.

What really sets this apart apart, are the Gate and Voice mode toggles. The Gate switch opens up tighter, more controlled textures, while the Voice switch changes the character of the distortion and gives you sounds well beyond the standard high-gain formula. Add in the artwork created by Cue The Sun drummer Jack, and you have a pedal that feels like a genuine collaboration rather than just another variation on a familiar circuit.
