Designed and built by Frank Brothers Guitar Company in Toronto, Canada, the Arcade combines familiar elements of mid-century electrics with the company's own distinctive construction and aesthetic language. This guitar makes an especially memorable statement with its Cadillac Green top, walnut-tinted mahogany back and sides, extensive spotted tortoise appointments, and lightly relic'd nitrocellulose lacquer finish. The result feels simultaneously elegant and lived-in, with enough individuality to make it immediately recognizable across a stage.

Its construction brings together a maple top and genuine mahogany body with a roasted 5A maple neck and Macassar ebony fingerboard, creating a compelling blend of traditional tonewoods and boutique details. The 25" scale falls between the familiar Gibson and Fender standards, providing a balance of comfortable string tension and articulate response, while the Classic Medium C neck profile offers a substantial but approachable playing feel. Spotted tortoise binding and purfling frame both the body and fingerboard, with split parallelogram inlays extending the vintage-inspired theme. Waverly relic open-gear tuners with matching spotted tortoise buttons, an ABR-1 bridge, and Frank Brothers' floating trapeze-style tailpiece complete a hardware package that reinforces the Arcade's unusual meeting point between solidbody attitude and old-world archtop elegance.

A pair of TV Jones T-Armond pickups gives this Arcade a voice equally suited to its unconventional construction. Inspired by the bold, articulate character of vintage DeArmond-style single-coils, the T-Armonds deliver strong attack, detailed highs, full lows, and a muscular clarity that can remain expressive as an amplifier begins to break up. That makes the Arcade particularly at home across rockabilly, roots rock, Americana, blues, country, garage, indie, alternative, and vintage-flavored rock, while its responsiveness also rewards cleaner and more atmospheric playing. CTS 500K potentiometers and NOS Soviet-era capacitors provide a carefully chosen supporting circuit, making this Frank Brothers more than an exercise in boutique aesthetics; it is a distinctive player's instrument built around touch, clarity, and character.
