Every guitarist reaches a point where they want an instrument that doesn't slow them down; it simply responds. This used EVH Wolfgang Standard delivers the speed, stability, and unmistakable attitude that Eddie Van Halen demanded from his own instruments. Built to bring Eddie's innovative design philosophy to everyday players, the Wolfgang Standard combines road-tested performance with exceptional value, making it equally at home on stage, in the studio, or in the practice room.
Developed from decades of Eddie Van Halen's relentless pursuit of the perfect playing guitar, the Wolfgang was engineered to eliminate distractions and maximize performance. Its lightweight basswood body features a sculpted comfort cut for effortless ergonomics, while the graphite-reinforced baked maple neck remains exceptionally stable through changing climates. The compound 12"-16" fingerboard radius, rolled fingerboard edges, jumbo frets, and signature Wolfgang neck profile encourage lightning-fast lead work while remaining equally comfortable for rhythm playing. Finished in eye-catching Gold Sparkle with a black headstock and black hardware, this Wolfgang commands attention before a single note is played.
Powering the guitar is a pair of direct-mounted EVH Wolfgang humbuckers that transfer string vibration directly into the body for outstanding sustain, clarity, and punch. The EVH-branded Floyd Rose Special locking tremolo and R2 locking nut provide rock-solid tuning stability through even the most aggressive whammy techniques, while the treble-bleed-equipped volume control preserves sparkling highs at any setting. Professionally inspected and available at Haggerty's Music, this used Wolfgang Standard is ready to inspire its next player with the performance and innovation that helped redefine modern rock guitar.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
