Guitarists chasing the creamy sustain and unmistakable fuzz character that helped define generations of rock tones can return to the beginning of the Big Muff story with this used Electro-Harmonix Triangle Big Muff Pi. The original Version 1 Big Muff appeared around 1969 and later became known as the “Triangle” because of the triangular arrangement of its Volume, Sustain, and Tone controls. As the earliest chapter in what would become one of Electro-Harmonix's most recognizable pedal families, the V1 established the thick sustain, harmonically rich distortion, and smooth lead character that made the Big Muff a lasting fixture on pedalboards. This modern Triangle Big Muff Pi faithfully recreates that early circuit in a compact, pedalboard-friendly enclosure.

The Triangle version is particularly appealing to blues-rock, classic rock, psychedelic, alternative, indie, stoner rock, shoegaze, and lead players looking for saturated fuzz without sacrificing musical definition. Its Sustain control moves from gritty distortion into thick, singing compression, while the classic Big Muff Tone control shifts the balance from darker, heavier textures toward brighter sounds capable of cutting through a mix.
