The DigiTech Whammy brings iconic pitch-bending mayhem to your pedalboard, delivering everything from dramatic dive bombs and gripping pitch bends to instant harmony shifts. The latest generation adds chordal pitch shifting, letting you bend entire chords as well as execute the classic single-note Whammy effects, while the familiar interface keeps the experience immediate and expressive. Whether you’re chasing wild lead effects or massive pitch-shifted textures, the Whammy puts an enormous range of sounds right under your foot.

Under the hood, 24-bit A/D and D/A conversion, a 44.1kHz sample rate, and a 20Hz–20kHz frequency response keep the pitch-shifting experience clear and responsive. The pedal features true bypass, a 1 MΩ input impedance, and a 1/4-inch unbalanced output, while the MIDI input opens up even more control for players working with larger pedalboards or performance rigs. MIDI messages can select Whammy and Drop Tune effects and control the expression position remotely, making it easy to integrate the pedal into a more sophisticated setup.
