The Darkglass Vintage Ultra V2 is built for bassists who want the warm, responsive character of classic tube amps and reel-to-reel tape without giving up the control and flexibility of a modern direct rig. Its Vintage Microtubes-inspired overdrive delivers everything from crisp, punchy preamp tones to rich, saturated drive, with natural compression and dynamic response that reacts to the way you play. Blend lets you retain the clarity and weight of your clean signal while dialing in exactly the amount of overdrive you need.

A four-band EQ gives you extensive control over the finished sound, with six selectable midrange frequencies across the low and high mid sections. The Attack switch shapes how much treble is driven into the saturation stage, while the three-position Grunt switch controls how much low-end content gets pushed into the clipping circuit. A dedicated footswitch lets you engage the overdrive independently, and the Master volume provides overall output and DI level control. The balanced XLR output includes switchable cabinet simulation, while the headphone output features IR cab simulation for detailed direct monitoring.

The Vintage Ultra is equally comfortable onstage, in the studio, or at home, with connections designed around modern bass rigs. The Aux In allows you to play along with backing tracks through headphones, while USB connectivity lets you load cabinet impulse responses and access additional settings through Darkglass software.
