Delivering 100 watts through a custom 12" Lavoce speaker, the RB-112 combines the vintage-inspired look of classic Ampeg gear with the practical features expected from a modern bass combo. Its portable, lightweight design makes it an appealing step up from a small practice amplifier while remaining easy enough to transport regularly.

The Ampeg Legacy preamp provides the foundation for its sound, pairing a traditional 3-band EQ with Ultra Hi and Ultra Lo switches for quickly reshaping the amplifier's response. When a cleaner bass tone isn't enough, Ampeg's footswitchable Super Grit Technology overdrive adds drive and harmonic grit inspired by the company's more aggressive tones. This combination gives the RB-112 the flexibility to cover warm vintage bass, articulate contemporary sounds, blues and classic rock, heavier driven tones, and plenty of territory in between.

The RB-112 is also equipped for situations beyond straightforward rehearsing. An auxiliary input makes it easy to practice with external audio, while the headphone output supports quiet sessions. An effects loop accommodates external processing, and an XLR direct output provides a convenient professional connection to a PA system or recording equipment.
