This used Airline amp will ship insured and inspected from Rapid City, SD. It is in Good condition with damage on the tolex on top, front, bottom left, and right corners, front light scratches on hardware, and water damage on the grille cloth. One of the replacement tubes has been shattered.

The Airline Model 62 9016-A is a classic Valco-built American tube combo with the kind of straightforward character that makes vintage amps so appealing. Delivering roughly 20–25 watts through a 2x12 speaker configuration, it offers two distinct channels, with the first voiced for bass and the second designed for guitar or accordion. Each channel has its own Volume and Tone controls, giving you a simple but highly usable way to shape the amp's response and let the character of the tubes and speakers come through.

The guitar channel adds a built-in tremolo with independent Speed and Intensity controls, giving the amp an extra dimension of movement that ranges from subtle pulse to deep vintage modulation. The speaker complement pairs one original Jensen C12-PS with a Weber C1265 Classic British Series speaker, creating an interesting blend of vintage American character and British-inspired response.

Inside, the amp is powered by four 12AX7 preamp tubes, a pair of 6L6 power tubes, and a 5U4 rectifier, giving it the familiar feel and response associated with classic American tube designs. Between its vintage Valco construction, original transformers, tremolo-equipped guitar channel, and unique 2x12 speaker pairing, this Airline is a particularly cool piece for players who want genuine old-school tube character with plenty of personality.
