When you pick up the Legator GX8F-MG Magma 8-String Multi-Scale Electric Guitar at Haggerty’s Music, you’re not just holding another instrument; you’re grasping a meticulously crafted extension of your own creativity. Its striking Magma finish catches the eye from across the room, while the eight-string, fanned-fret design unlocks extended range and tonal depth that invites exploration beyond traditional boundaries. The multi-scale configuration ensures balanced tension and clarity across every string, making low tunings sing as cleanly as the upper registers.
Beneath its stunning exterior lies a thoughtful assembly of premium components designed for performance. A bolt-on five-piece wenge/maple neck and compound radius fingerboard deliver a smooth, responsive feel from the first fret to the last, while the solid alder body with California Buckeye Burl resin-infused top offers both warmth and punch. Dual high-quality pickups with push/pull voice selections give you sonic flexibility for everything from precision riffing to soaring solos. The fast neck profile paired with jumbo stainless steel frets encourages effortless playability at any speed.
This guitar doesn’t just look and play great; it’s built for the player who wants serious tone straight out of the case. The Legator Pro fixed bridge and locking tuners keep you in tune through heavy playing, while the included deluxe gig bag from Haggerty’s Music makes transporting your instrument safe and stylish. Whether you’re shredding onstage, tracking in the studio, or composing new material at home, the GX8F-MG Magma promises to be a powerful partner in your musical journey.

Frequently Asked Questions
Do you set up every guitar before it ships?
Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.
How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.
