Inspired by classic Tube Screamer-style circuitry but tuned between traditional TS and K-style frequency ranges, it delivers a focused, musical midrange that helps a guitar cut through without becoming harsh or nasal. The JRC4558 chip and carefully chosen circuit modifications give the Mori Drive its own voice, with more available output volume than a standard TS-style overdrive and a wide sweet spot that makes dialing in your sound feel natural and effortless.

Where the Mori Drive really shines is in the way it responds to your playing and works with an already pushed amplifier. Its asymmetrical clipping produces a smoother, more natural drive character, adding sustain and harmonic richness while preserving the feel of your guitar under your fingers. The tone control offers plenty of room to shape the sound without losing its musical center, making it easy to move from a subtle midrange lift to a more assertive, cutting overdrive. Whether you’re adding just a little grit or pushing your amp into a singing lead tone, the Mori Drive feels cohesive and responsive rather than overly compressed.

The Mori Drive is also an exceptional stacking partner, pairing beautifully with other overdrives to create layered textures, added dimension, and a broader range of gain without muddying your sound. Try it alongside a Greer Lightspeed or Southland for a versatile foundation of tone and feel, or combine it with your favorite drives to discover new shades of saturation. True-bypass switching keeps your signal clean when the pedal is off.
