The John 5 Ghost Telecaster takes the familiar Telecaster formula and pushes it into unapologetically modern hard-rock territory. Designed by lifelong Telecaster devotee John 5, the Ghost Telecaster combines the instantly recognizable Tele shape with a striking Arctic White finish and matching headcap, giving it a bold stage presence that matches its aggressive voice. It is a guitar built around the idea that classic design does not have to stay stuck in the past.

The John 5 Ghost Telecaster gets its firepower from a pair of DiMarzio D Activator pickups, delivering the high-output response and clarity needed to keep heavy tones tight and articulate. The neck has a comfortable C shape with a 9.5" radius maple fingerboard, giving the guitar an approachable feel while leaving plenty of room for bends, fast runs, and expressive lead work. A hardtail bridge keeps the response direct and solid, while the stripped-down control layout puts a single volume knob and dedicated killswitch right at your fingertips for quick, dramatic changes in the middle of a song.

Everything about the John 5 Ghost Telecaster is focused on getting out of the way and letting the player make some noise. The signature neck plate adds a personal touch, while the combination of hot DiMarzio pickups, hardtail construction, and minimalist controls gives this Telecaster a distinctly aggressive personality without losing its roots. Whether you are playing crushing riffs, screaming leads, or using the killswitch to add rhythmic stabs and stutters, the John 5 Ghost Telecaster is built to command attention. Available now at Haggerty's Music.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you set up every guitar before it ships?

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?

We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.

Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?

Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
