The Epiphone Jimi Hendrix Love Drops Flying V captures the spirit of one of rock’s most groundbreaking artists, faithfully recreating the guitar Hendrix made unmistakably his during some of the most influential years of his career. From its hand-painted psychedelic artwork to its unmistakable Flying V silhouette, this instrument carries the same bold personality and fearless creativity that helped redefine what an electric guitar could be.
Beneath its iconic appearance is a guitar that’s every bit as inspiring to play. The mahogany body and one-piece mahogany neck deliver a warm, resonant foundation with plenty of sustain, while the rounded C profile feels comfortable whether you’re digging into bluesy bends, soulful rhythm work, or soaring lead lines. A pair of Gibson Custombucker pickups provides rich vintage character with articulate highs, punchy mids, and the dynamic response needed to go from shimmering cleans to saturated overdrive. The short Maestro Vibrola adds expressive movement without sacrificing the classic feel that players expect from a vintage-inspired instrument.
This is far more than a tribute model, it’s an invitation to embrace the adventurous spirit that made Jimi Hendrix a legend. Every detail, from the reproduction signature on the headstock to the premium electronics and included hardshell case, reflects the care taken to honor one of the most celebrated guitars in rock history. Whether you’re a devoted Hendrix fan, a collector, or simply looking for an instrument with unmistakable style and inspiring tone, the Epiphone Jimi Hendrix Love Drops Flying V is ready to make a statement. Available now at Haggerty’s Music.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?
We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument.
