The Epiphone 1959 Les Paul Standard Reissue captures the magic of one of the most legendary guitars ever made, bringing the unmistakable feel and character of a late-'50s Les Paul to a much more attainable price. The genuine mahogany body and carved maple cap deliver the familiar combination of warmth, sustain, and punch, while the AAA flamed maple veneer gives this guitar the kind of figured beauty that immediately grabs your attention. From the first chord, it has that substantial, resonant quality that makes a great Les Paul so addictive to play.

The authentic 1959 Rounded Medium C neck profile gives the guitar a comfortably substantial feel without getting in the way, while the one-piece mahogany neck and long neck tenon contribute to the impressive sustain and resonance. A bound rosewood fingerboard, mother-of-pearl trapezoid inlays, and historically accurate side dots reinforce the vintage character, making this feel like much more than a modern interpretation. It's the kind of neck that invites you to settle in, whether you're digging into thick rhythm work or stretching out on a singing lead.

Two USA Gibson Custombucker humbuckers with Alnico 3 magnets provide the heart of the experience, delivering warm, dynamic tones that respond beautifully to your picking attack and volume control. Hand-wired CTS pots, Black Beauty paper-in-oil capacitors, and Switchcraft components keep the signal path true to the vintage-inspired design, while the Vintage Gloss finish and nickel hardware complete the look. Add the included brown hardshell case, and you have a Les Paul built for players who want the sound, feel, and spirit of a 1959 original without needing a vintage-guitar budget. Available now at Haggerty's Music.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do you set up every guitar before it ships?

Yes. Every guitar that leaves our store has been professionally inspected, set up, and signed off by the technician who worked on it. You will find a signed checklist inside the box when your order arrives.

How accurate are your condition descriptions?

We treat condition grading as a contractual promise, not an approximation. When we list something as excellent, that reflects a specific, consistent standard we apply across every instrument. We encourage you to call us before purchasing if you want a detailed in-hand description of any specific guitar.

Can I call and speak to someone about a guitar before I buy?

Yes, and we encourage it. Our team are working musicians, not order-takers. Call us at 605-348-6737 and ask about any instrument in our inventory. We will physically pull it off the wall and describe it to you in detail.

What is your return policy?

We offer a 14-day return policy if you change your mind and the item is returned undamaged. You are responsible for return shipping costs.
